A comfortable super King-size bed ensures a great night's sleep! The space Welcome to our cozy, self-built wooden house nestled in the heart of Ménéac, a serene village in Brittany. Perfectly blending rustic charm with modern comfort, this Scandinavian-style retreat offers a peaceful and stylish base for your Breton adventures. Inside, the house features warm, natural wood throughout, creating a serene, inviting atmosphere. The open-plan living area boasts clean, minimalist Scandinavian furnishings, where you can relax on the large, comfortable sofa. The mezzanine floor houses a luxurious super king-size bed, offering a perfect night’s sleep above the main living area. Ideal for couples, small families or groups of friends, our home is the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring. With super fast Fibre internet, the house is also ideal for work away trips. The peaceful village of Ménéac offers an authentic Brittany experience while providing easy access to both the north and south coasts of the region, making it an ideal location for discovering the diverse beauty of the area. Shops and Restaurants in Ménéac: There is a small local supermarket in Ménéac called Le Ticket de Pain. Here you can get your freshly baked baguettes, croissants etc., as well as a wide range of other produce. There are two friendly café bars - Le Pizz'Bar Vinc and Au Comptoir De Menek (Chez Mario) and one restaurant La Grande Halte which offers a set menu lunch every weekday with wine for a mere €13. Every Thursday there is a pizza van that parks in the main square by the church. Just down the road from the house on the way to La Trinité-Porhoët, there is a nice fishing lake. Things to Do around Ménéac: Hiking and Cycling: Surrounded by lush forests, Ménéac is a great spot for outdoor enthusiasts, with scenic trails for hiking and cycling never far away. Explore Historic Villages: Wander through charming nearby villages such as Josselin, with its medieval castle, and the picturesque town of Ploërmel, perfect for a leisurely day trip. Guest access All of the house is accessible to guests apart from the utility room, the door to which is to the left of the kitchen. Other things to note Please note that the pellet stove is for private use only. The stairs are relatively steep with a fairly narrow tread and therefore unsuitable for those with mobility issues. Small toddlers should be watched carefully on the staircase and mezzanine floor and should never be left unattended as there are gaps they could fall through. The wooden decking can be extremely slippery when wet, so please be very aware.
