The MT Nest

A quiet, modern cabin nestled within the trees of the Sunshine Valley, Hope British Columbia. The space Welcome to The MT Nest in the beautiful Sunshine Valley. We are approximately 30 minutes from Manning Park Resort and only 15 minutes from the town of Hope which makes this tranquil getaway enjoyable anytime of year. The cabin is on 1/4 acre of land, nestled amongst the trees and surrounded by mountains. Enjoy a morning coffee or yoga on the private patio, take a nap in a hammock, roast marsh mellows by a crackling outdoor fire, warm up after a day of skiing in our sauna or play a round of corn hole with your family. The sounds of birds and gentle wind rustling in the trees and fresh mountain air create the perfect place to unwind and reconnect with nature. The cabin is modern, simple in design and furnishings but warm and cozy. Through the front door you will find the mudroom and a washer and dryer. There are 2 bedrooms, each with a comfy queen size bed, Egyptian cotton sheets and a variety of different pillows to suit your sleeping needs and ensure a restful sleep. Each room comes with a dresser, a luggage rack and wall hooks for your personal belongings. The windows have pull down shades for privacy but be sure to open them at first light for a view of the trees from your bed. The kitchen has a fridge, stove, and dishwasher and stocked with cooking supplies, serving dishes, utensils and storage containers, an air fryer, waffle maker, electric kettle, toaster, rice cooker, popcorn maker, blender and coffee maker. In the open concept living/dining room you will find a propane fireplace, a leather couch and a dining table that seats 4. Relax and read a book by the fire, watch a movie on our smart TV, choose a game to play, or a record to listen to, and if you are musically inclined feel free to pick up the harmonica or acoustic guitar. Whether sun, rain or snow, the extra large windows and sliding glass doors allow the space to be filled with natural light and allow a beautiful view of the forest and mountains beyond.
