Little Lime Barn, rural village near coast

Little Lime Barn is in the charming rural village of Benhall, a short drive from the stunning Suffolk coast, and the world famous Snape Maltings. Whilst staying here you have exclusive use of the court garden as well as access to our enclosed Orchard, perfect for your dog to explore. We have an abundance of local wildlife, you may be lucky enough to hear and see a Barn Owl swooping over the orchard at dusk and deer grazing in our four acre field. The space Little Lime Barn is a one storey building that was converted in 2004. It is a large one bedroom barn with a big bathroom with a bath and separate shower. The bedroom has two double wardrobes and a king size bed with a wool sprung Silent Night Medium Mattress. An iron and ironing board are provided as is a hairdryer. In the bathroom you will find handsoap, bubble bath and shower gels. We do not provide shampoo or conditioner. In the kitchen you will find Washer / dryer Dishwasher Toaster Microwave Air Fryer Kettle Electric Hob and Oven Smoke Alarm Fire Blanket Fire Extinguisher Dog First Aid Kit Human First Aid Kit We have no gas here so our heating is run on oil. Guest access You have Little Lime Barn to yourselves, during your stay you have sole use of the enclosed courtyard garden. Access to the barn is via a keysafe. We have plenty of parking. You also have full access to our enclosed Orchard. We do ask that you walk around the perimeter to satisfy yourselves that your dog cannot escape before letting them off lead. The Orchard is adjacent to our field where horses graze and our neighbours keep poultry so it’s important that you are happy your dog cannot get out. Other things to note We very much welcome your dog to stay too. We know how difficult it is to find somewhere lovely to stay that doesn’t charge a premium for you to bring your four legged companion. We don’t charge you any extra for bringing them, they are part of your family! The barn is big enough to accommodate two spaniel size dogs that must be house trained and well behaved. We cannot accept intact male dogs as it has been our experience that they tend to ‘scent mark’ where they can smell other male dogs have been. We do not allow dogs to be left unattended in the barn without prior discussion with us please. There are dog towels provided as well as a Mud Daddy for those dirty paws plus dog bowls and 2 medium size crates if required. Don’t worry if you forget a lead as we have spares. In our enclosed orchard we have plenty of balls and ball throwers for your dog’s enrichment. We live in the adjoining barn so are close to hand if you need anything. Please note we can’t accept a booking until you have given us as much information about your dog as possible.
