A 1-2 hour drive to attractions located in Belfast, Dublin, and Giants Causeway on the North Coast.Perfect for a quiet getaway allowing you to experience Ireland like a local. The space The cottage is one of approximately 175 remaining thatched cottages in Northern Ireland. It is a listed property, built in the 1780's, that has been modernized inside without losing some its traditional features like sash windows, stone walls and the exposed bog oak beam in the sitting room. Full kitchen with gas stove, microwave, dishes, cooking pots, utensils and eating area, a utility room with a washer and dryer and parking area in front of house. Guest access The full house is available for use with the exception of the outside storage shed. There is room for several vehicles to park. This is a rural location and closest public transit is in the village. Other things to note There is wifi available in the cottage. Cell (mobile) service can be spotty. The password for wifi will be sent along with door code .
