Cozy cottage by Sunds Sø

Enjoy a relaxing stay in this charming cottage located in the scenic area of Sunds Sø close to Herning. It's only about 15 minutes by car to Herning. Free parking at the property. Perfect location for e.g. fairs, concerts, sporting events, family holidays or just a get-away with friends. This newly renovated, cozy older cottage offers a welcoming atmosphere with an open living room and three bedrooms as well as a large terrace with a newly built outdoor room/orangery in glass. The space The house has a practical decor with a nice living room including an open kitchen, a living room with a loft-mounted bio fireplace and a dining area with partial lake views. On the large terrace, the house's lovely glass outdoor room can be used. Here is both a seating area with lounge sofas and a large dining table. The house has a gas grill that can be used. The house's largest bedroom has a double bed, plenty of space and a wall-mounted desk. In the ingeniously decorated small neighboring bedroom, there is room for 3 people, as it contains both a double bed and a wall-mounted bunk bed with room for an additional 1 person (child) above the double bed. We recommend that the person in the bunk bed is a child or teenager. The house's third and last bedroom has a cozy sloping ceiling. Here there is access from the living room, and it contains 2 single beds, which can also be easily pushed together if desired. In the house's lovely large bathroom there is a separate shower and washing machine. The cottage is heated by geothermal heating, and there is underfloor heating in almost the entire house. However, not in bedroom 3, where there is a smaller electric radiator. Other things to note You can look forward to newer furniture and decor in general. The home is decorated with an eye for comfort and cozy socializing. Here's high-speed wireless internet and entertainment such as TV and a large shuffleboard where you can challenge your friends. There is a Chromecast attached to the TV, which can be streamed wirelessly when connected to the house's wireless internet. There are no TV channels available other than streaming/Chromecast. Large fridge in the kitchen as well as freezer in the shed. The house is located a few steps from Sunds Sø, and from the house's living room and outdoor wooden terrace you can enjoy the view towards the lake. The house is located on the north side of the lake on a large natural plot with lawn around the house. At the driveway of the house there is a large gravel area with ample space for parking. The area around Sunds Sø is generally idyllic and quiet and peaceful. We recommend a nice walk or run on the trail around Sunds Sø in beautiful natural surroundings, where the route around the lake is about 5 km. There is also a short distance to Sunds city with various supermarkets, pizzerias and shopping opportunities. On the south side of Lake Sund you will find the popular restaurant Søgaarden. Delicious food is served here, both for lunch and dinner. There is also the opportunity to play mini golf on the beautiful and slightly challenging 18-hole mini golf course or take a dip on the beach. Herning is located right in the middle of Jutland, and in Herning town you will find the statue Elia, many exciting shops and good restaurants. Herning's cultural offerings and shopping opportunities are close by (10 km) with a short drive of 10-15 minutes by car. In Herning, large and popular events and events such as concerts, sporting events and fairs are often held in Messecenter Herning, Boxen, MCH Arena (FCM stadium which is home to FC Midtjylland) and Herning Congress Center. There are also great opportunities for day trips to the North Sea, Legoland (45 minutes by car), Givskud Zoo and the cities of Silkeborg and Aarhus, which have a lot to offer.
