Our location is key—we’re close to everything, yet tucked away in a small, secure gated community. It's the perfect balance of convenience and tranquility. Plus, we have our own parking, which is a rare find in Antigua! We’ve put a lot of love and care into curating special pieces from Guatemala and our travels. The artwork throughout the home is part of a collection we’ve gathered over the years, and we’ll continue adding to it, making each time you return to The Nest feel fresh and unique. The space Our Nest property is located in the safe, gated Antigua community of La Serenisima. It’s only a 20 minute (1 km) walk to Antigua’s Central Park. If you walk in the other direction for about 2 minutes, you’ll find a plaza with a grocery store, bakery and pharmacy. When you enter The Nest you’ll be welcomed by a bright, sunny full kitchen that includes our dining area and a TV. Guests enjoy having their morning coffee here, looking out the window to the garden and catching up on the morning news. Off of the kitchen is the “Blue Room” bedroom. This room has an artistic vibe. It’s light, airy and fun. A perfect room for cultivating creativity and positive energy. The “Blue Room” has a queen size bed with a memory foam mattress topper and attached full bathroom with a shower. The spacious master suite or “Green Room” is designed to be dark, warm and peaceful–a room for day napping and restful nights of deep sleep. The master suite has a king-sized bed also with a memory foam mattress topper. There is a large ensuite bathroom that includes both a shower and a bath. You’ll also find a walk-in closet and dressing area perfect for preparing for a fancy event or wedding. The “Green Room” is connected to the space by a corridor garden. This garden area is The Nest’s living room. It’s a space for relaxing, listening to the birds, and chatting about your day’s plans. We also have a small desk, comfortable tall back chair and high speed internet here if you need to catch up on emails. Each bedroom features a charming loft space, accessible by a ladder, with a cozy single bed. These elevated nooks are perfect for older children and adults. Please note that for safety reasons, children under 8 are not permitted to use the lofts. Lastly, the garage provides covered, off-street parking for two vehicles, offering a safe and convenient place to park.
