Perched on the highest point in the county, this remodeled modern farmhouse suite offers panoramic views and a serene escape from the everyday. Plush king bed, new linens, futon, and a dedicated workstation—perfect for work or leisure: coffee bar, microwave & fridge. New private bath, w/beautiful tiled shower. Shared library. Go outside to surrounding land and take a walk and embrace nature at the ponds! This hilltop haven is the perfect getaway, unwind & relax in this calm, stylish space. The space This is a working farm, so you will see trucks, tractors and farm equipment around. There are two large Labrador Retrievers that live outside and will probably bark when you arrive. If you'd prefer not to be greeted that way, we're happy to put them up, but they will be on the property during your stay. There are also two large outdoor cats that to enjoy the company of strangers, and we expect that they'll check you out. Our upstairs shared rooms are a great fit for travelers just passing through or in town for work who need a comfortable, convenient place to rest for the night. If you’re looking for a more private, getaway-style experience, we recommend booking one of our cabins instead—they offer a more relaxing, private, secluded getaway with access to property amenities. The space is a recently remodeled farmhouse room with a private code lock on the entry door. The remodeled bathroom is for your private use. The library, front porch, and grounds are shared. There's another room at the opposite end of the hall that also has a private bathroom. If you’re interested in both, let us know! Guest access Private room and private Hall bathroom. The property features are also shared with the 5 cabins that are rented most of the time. During your stay We prefer the Airbnb message app, but our cell phone is provided for emergency use We do live downstairs and are very active and busy on our farm and property. We will respect your privacy, but you will most likely see us around the property or in the yard. Other things to note We have remodeled our older Farmhouse with the intent of creating a clean, comfortable and accommodating space for our guests. We have completed all of the remodeling and everything works well, but we are keeping the interior authentic to the original farmhouse character. It may not be perfect, but we hope you’ll love the vibe! We do have two dogs and two cats who live on our property and have free range. They are very friendly, but if you have any fear of dogs or cats, please do not book this space. We have other rental options in our cabins on the fsrmland!
