Stølshus (small mountain hut)

This is an accommodation for those who want to experience the silence of the Norwegian mountain landscape. You will live in a stølshus (a small cabin in the mountains), 460 meters above sea level, on Fauskestølen. The mountain cabin is located about an hour's walk up in varied terrain from our farm and we will guide you there. There is no electricity or water installed, but a water source next to the house where you will find fresh drinking water all year round. The Stølshuset is equipped with a gas stove, wood stove and outhouse and is located in an attractive hiking area. Guest access You have the place to yourself and can use the entire area. Other things to note There are pillows, duvets and wool blankets. You bring bed linen and towels yourself. If you travel in such a way that this becomes difficult, you can rent for a price of NOK 250/set (incl. 1 pillowcase, 1 duvet cover, 1 sheet, 1 medium towel). Kitchen towels are available. There is mobile coverage, but problems with specific operators may occur. Feel free to ask and I will try to figure it out for you!
