Escape to nature in this charming 1BR/1BA cabin perfect for a romantic retreat or solo getaway. Nestled among towering trees, it blends rustic charm with modern comforts. Heads up: we have a composting toilet and trailer-style water heater (details in amenities) — water gets HOT fast, so mix in some cold. Our toilet's simple & clean, guests love it! Into off-grid quirks? You'll fit right in. Not your thing? No worries. Hike, stargaze by the fire pit, or just unplug and reconnect with nature. The space This cabin features a bathroom with a composting toilet — simple to use, odor-free, and clean; instructions are provided inside. There is a brand-new shower with an electric tankless water heater, so you'll never run out of hot water — but the cabin's fresh water supply comes from a 100-gallon tank, so please be mindful of usage and keep showers reasonably quick. The water also heats up fast and gets very hot, so be sure to mix in cold water to dial in your temperature. There is a mini fridge, microwave, and Keurig for coffee. There is a pellet grill located in the community pavilion that can be used for barbequing or cooking food, as well as a charcoal grill. Other things to note This cabin offers a private fire pit and a unique pavilion built from the cab of a decommissioned locomotive. Please note: due to the remote location, WiFi can be spotty, and power occasionally goes out during heavy rain or wind — it typically comes back quickly. There's also another property on the same lot, which may be occupied by guests or by the owner/property management at times.
