Coastal home in Malabar, Sydney

This beautiful cottage is just 50m from the stunning Malabar beach and ocean, yet just 12km from the city of Sydney and all it has to offer. There is plenty of living space, including a large back deck and a shady pergola area for those super hot days. The kitchen is well-appointed for those that like to cook at home, but if you prefer to eat out, you are just steps away from the fabulous Coastal Cafe. With shops and public transport close by, it's the perfect place to holiday! The space Please note that there are building works next door (Mon to Fri, 730am to 3pm) so we have reduced the weekday price accordingly. The noise is not constant - it comes and goes. No parties please. This is a quiet neighbourhood and also our home. Thank you. ———— This house starts with the front deck, where a comfy bench provides the perfect place to sit and see glimpses of the water. Once inside, there's another comfy seating area in the porch, then a cosy sitting room with a Smart TV that's set up for Netflix, Binge, and Apple TV. Next up is the office space, which includes office chair, desk and standing desk riser. Continue through to the back of the house, where you'll find a spacious lounge-diner with a sofa, a dining table for six people and a fabulous, hand-made kitchen with pantry, double door fridge, double oven and gas hob. The lounge-diner has double doors out to the back deck and garden. There's always a shady spot here, as the pergola is covered with fabulous climbing plants. The house has two bedrooms, each with king-size beds and fitted wardrobes. The large bathroom has a bath and a separate walk-in shower. The cottage has a coastal feel, particularly as it's only a 3-minute walk to the sand. All windows and doors have fly screens so the breeze can flow through all day. It's light filled and airy, yet it's small enough to feel cosy and friendly as well. 8 mins' walk: FoodWorks mini supermarket, Krazy Chicks take away (recommended!), two more cafes, pharmacy, medical centre and post office. 10 mins' walk: Buses into the city, and for connections to Coogee Beach, Bondi Beach and other eastern suburbs. Also Big Bunz take away, Chinese food takeaway, and Nude Pizza (recommended!). 3 mins' walk: 399 bus to Maroubra Junction and then beyond, for connections to the Light Rail. 5 mins' drive: Maroubra's Pacific Square with supermarket, fish market and bakery.
