Cozy room in a former count's forest house

My house was renovated and lovingly furnished in 2016. The room is modern and bright, has two comfortable box spring beds (extra bed/baby cot possible for a fee), great views of meadows, a large shower with glass front directly in the room and private toilet. A kettle, a bottle of mineral water, coffee and tea are available free of charge. A small minibar is available. On request, a very tasty breakfast buffet (€15/adult€8/child 3 to 9 years) can be booked. The space My place is on the outskirts overlooking meadows and fields. Nearby are the volcano bike path, the Bonifatius route and the Jakobsweg. Restaurants, shops and discount stores are within walking distance. Herbstein has a small spa including a sauna, a walk-in city wall, various restaurants, an ice cream shop, a carnival museum, a beautiful market square with half-timbered houses and a relaxed atmosphere. Eisenbach Castle, the "Wartburg of Upper Hesse" is worth a trip. For shopping, the baroque town of Fula with its imposing city castle and cathedral is ideal. Our local mountain, the Hoherodskopf, has, among other things, a summer toboggan run, treetop trail, mountain bike trails, hiking trails, etc. Herbstein is always worth a trip. Here you can slow down wonderfully. Guest access The balcony can be used right outside the room. I also offer a very cozy guest lounge with various seating options, games and books. Also a converted barn with a large kitchen (extra charge). Of course, the lovingly landscaped garden with lawn, barbecue area, fountain and barefoot path can also be used. Direct access to a small playground. The bicycle garage is also available to my guests free of charge. NEW - Premium ice cream from the Rhön. For self-catering, there is delicious food in a glass (also vegan/vegetarian) that can be quickly heated in the microwave - it's worth trying! During your stay I am always available for my guests, but I also give them their space. I would be happy to give tips for excursions in the area. Other things to note There are two cats in my household, but they do not have access to the guest rooms ;-) Prices are slightly higher in high season (Easter, summer and winter holidays).
