An oasis of peace and tranquility, The Rose Wing at Red Hill Farm offers a quiet country get away. Relax and be refreshed by nature. Fall asleep to the sound of tawny owls and awake to a symphony of bird song - oh, and Eccles! The cockerel. We don’t hear him but you might! Ear plugs available if required. Set in an acre of garden with woodland, regular visitors include hedgehogs, badgers, foxes and occasionally deer. And without the city lights, you’ll be amazed by the sky at night! The space Spacious and peaceful sole occupancy accommodation in the modern wing of a traditional farmhouse. Set in a village location on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales, this rural retreat is readily accessible via the A1/M1 motorways and is within easy reach of Harrogate, Wetherby, Leeds and York. The Rose Wing has two en-suite bedrooms, one king and one twin (which can be converted to a king if requested at booking) both of which look out onto the private garden. Downstairs the entrance hallway leads to the kitchen and the living room which has a lounge area, with Smart TV, and a dining area with doors opening onto the terrace. Steps down from the terrace lead into the private garden, with access through a wooded area to a public footpath/cycle path which runs between Spofforth and Wetherby. There is also a wheelchair accessible wet room. A utility room with washing and drying facilities is available to guests booking for a week or longer. There is a large parking area at the front of the property. Free designated WiFi throughout. Fully accessible: A gentle slope leads from the parking area to the main entrance; access ramps are available on request. The wet room is wheelchair accessible (guests to provide their own shower chair) and there is a wheelchair accessible lift to the first floor. Guest access Guests can enjoy sole use of the entire Rose Wing and its private garden. The large parking area at the front and the woodland area at the rear are shared with the hosts. Other things to note Sorry, no pets allowed (Rose Cottage pet-friendly accommodation coming soon). Horses by arrangement! No smoking or vaping in the house or garden area - there is a bench just outside the back gate with a lovely view across fields to the village. Please dispose of butts responsibly. Private outdoor hot tub available to pre-book subject to availability (additional charge). Suitable for small business meetings with free WiFi, ample parking and interactive TV screen facility.
