Arrive to a delightful stay at the “Fish Upon a Star Cabin”, here in the quaint and historic, old west town of Winchester, Idaho with its wide streets, friendly folks and fresh air! A great place to escape summer’s heat, enjoy some winter snow, or experience the pleasant seasons of spring and fall. Take in outdoor fun with a short walk to Winchester Lake State Park, for hiking, fishing, boating; snow shoe or X-country ski. Bring your sideXside; go hunting; or just explore nearby towns. The space The “Fish Upon A Star Cabin” is a modern, fully equipped, manufactured 700-sf home with all new appliances and furnishings. The 120-sf covered Front Porch is a great place for an evening-sit, and watch the occasional visitations of deer or the wild turkey flock. The Living Room has a futon couch (sleeps two);TV, currently equipped with a DVD player for movie watching and Wi-Fi internet equipped with a Roku remote (bring your apps); a comfy over-stuffed arm chair with ottoman; a coffee and end tables with lamps; an overhead fan and light; and many fish related mementoes adorning the walls. The open floor plan evolves into the Dining table area (seats four) and transitions to the fully equipped Kitchen with dishwasher; sink with special REVERSE OSMOSIS water filtration system - (so you won't need to bring bottled water); stove and oven; refrigerator/freezer; rolling kitchen island. The hallway door leads to the back outside door [with the keyless entry keypad] via the utility mudroom. Hall leads to the roomy Bathroom and the Bedroom that features a great queen-size bed and small closet. Guest access Guests will enter the parking area from the alley, (off either Camas or Algoma) in the back of the cabin. The front yard off Mason Ave, and the entire cabin and property is accessible to our guests. Other things to note Refer to our in-house manual for greater detail.... Bikes are available on request.. When parking in the back alleyway, please do not block the alley..... There are 4 stairs to access keypad entry door.... Please wipe counters, do your dishes, turn off heat or A/C, and tidy up when checking out.; Our cleaning fee is only $10 in order to keep your costs low... We are not currently charging a pet fee in order to keep cost down, however, please clean up after your dog. No dogs on furniture - however some are accustomed to climbing. Thus, we have dog-sheets located next the washer/dryer area to cover beds and furniture..... The bedroom has the queen bed, and the living room has the sofabed AirBnB charges additional fees and collects state taxes
