La Guerche is located between Nevers and Bourges, close to a canal bridge and Apremont sur Allier. 10kms away, Apremont-sur-Allier, beautiful medieval village classified in the most beautiful villages of France, its floral park, its castle and the banks of the Allier. In Nevers (20kms) City of faience with blue camaieu motifs (see museum), also the sanctuary of Ste Bernadette Soubirous. For lovers of motorcycle races, let's not forget Magny-Cours just 25kms away. In Bourges (former Gallo Romaine city, 46 kms=40 mins) the inscribed cathedral and the gardens of the archeché, its marshes and houses in Colombages, and the Palais Jacques Coeur. The departure of the Jacques Coeur road and its many castles (Meillant, Ainay le Vieil, Sagonne, Valençay etc...). I don't forget the Wine Route, Sancerre (47 mins), Menetou Salon (50 mins), Pouilly and the famous Chavignol crottin.
