This memorable place is anything but ordinary with 150 sf of everything you will need to enjoy yourself in this semi-rural setting. The queen bed beckons you to a glorious night's sleep and then in the morning enjoy your coffee on the deck or kitchen island. Capture the southern vibe of cooking in this fully equipped kitchen. The bathroom is a true taste of tiny house living! Enjoy a beverage on the deck and watch the deer and fireflies at dusk. Off street parking. The space The Refuge is 150 square feet of calming space with all of the amenities needed for an enjoyable stay. Located between two tiny houses, with trees and the feeling of privacy. Designed with comfort in mind, come stay and put your feet up and relax. The studio tiny house offers you a queen bed, with all 100% cotton linens, and a thick foam mattress. Four pillows, with two different types, are for your enjoyment. Clothes can be hung on the open clothes rack, hangers provided or stored under the bed in a storage container that is provided. "Nightstands" are provided for your glasses, beverage and/ or anything you wish. Reading lights so that you can curl up in bed and read and good book. An armchair with footstool, table, and wall outlet for USB and electric charging so as you are in bed, or anywhere in The Refuge, your electronics are not far away. The kitchen offers you everything you may need to make a tasty meal. A toaster/regular/convection oven, with baking tray and dishes, a two-burner portable stovetop with all types of pots and pans and a small retro refrigerator/freezer, with ice tray. Dishes, silverware and glassware, along with serving utensils and placemats allow you to sit at the island and enjoy the delicacies you have cooked up. Separating the bedroom from kitchen is a rolling marble top island with two bar stools. Perfect for dining, doing work, or schoolwork. There is comfortable armchair and table perfect for working on a laptop. On the side of the island is an additional power strip which also includes USB charging ports. The Smart TV is visible to any area in The Refuge but the bathroom. WIFI for work and play is available throughout the tiny house and deck! The small bathroom offers all necessary items including +++ a SMALL tiled 24" x 24" shower, that offers an 8-MINUTE hot water shower. +++ Other bathroom amenities are shampoo, conditioner, bath gel, hair dryer, cotton balls, Q-Tip and hand lotion and 100% cotton towels. The kitchen sink is your hand washing sink just steps away. Clothes drying rack is over the toilet and a small folding portable washer is located in the kitchen for your small item washing needs. The outdoor deck offers a chair and rocker to enjoy the beautiful weather and during warm months a patio umbrella keeps you from the direct sun, if you wish. There is one off-street parking space located down the drive, if your vehicle won't make it up the steep drive. Guest access Guests have full access to areas of The Refuge except for: curtained off area in the loft over the kitchen and the entire loft over the bed. This access is denied due to guest's safety.
