Chalet Fridrihštajn is nestled in the heart of the majestic Kočevje Forest, one of Slovenia's most mysterious and untouched natural areas. Overlooking the cabin is the historic Fridrihštajn Castle, famous for the tragic love story of Frederick of Celje and Veronika Deseniška. This region is a paradise for nature lovers, hikers, and explorers, home to lynxes, wolves, and bears. Here, you will find peace, pristine silence, and the perfect escape into nature’s embrace. The space Koča Fridrihštajn is the largest and most famous cabin in Kočevje, accommodating up to 12 guests. With its spacious and well-equipped interior, it is ideal for gatherings, team-building retreats, or peaceful getaways. The cabin features a conference room, a fully equipped kitchen, high-speed internet, and a sound system with a Spotify account to set the perfect atmosphere. Outside, you can relax in the social area, enjoy the fresh air, or gather around the firepit in the evenings. Free parking is available, and nature is right at your doorstep. Guest access Guests have access to the whole Chalet Other things to note !PLEASE NOTE! TOURIST TAX: Every guest needs to pay an extra fee for the Tourist Tax of Kočevje Municipality which is not included in the reservation price. The price is 2,50 EUR/day per adult and 1,25 EUR/day per child. You will be informed about the full amount after we formally check you in the Chalet. SAUNA: At Chalet Fridrihštajn we provide a Sauna upon a prior reqest. Price for a day is 90,00 EUR. IMPORTANT INFORMATION – Chalet Fridrihštajn Please note that Chalet Fridrihštajn is located deep in the forest, offering a unique and secluded nature experience. - The water in the chalet is not drinkable, so we recommend bringing your own drinking water. - Electricity is powered by a generator, therefore the power supply is limited.
