Multiple seating areas, adorned with luxurious leather lounge suites dressed with cushions and throws, provide stylish and comfortable spaces to relax and unwind. ----DESIGNED FOR ENTERTAINING & INTIMATE CELEBRATIONS---- The Homestead is perfect for micro weddings, family gatherings, and intimate celebrations. Accommodation is available for up to 12 overnight guests, with up to 5 additional visitors welcome for the occasion as long as they stay elsewhere. To help keep everything running smoothly, any extra guests or services — such as photographers, celebrants, or hair and makeup stylists — must be discussed with and approved by your host in advance. The Homestead is not registered or licensed for large-scale weddings or events, keeping the focus on smaller occasions that are personal, heartfelt, and truly memorable. The unique thermal properties of the mudbricks, combined with the north-facing aspect and wide verandas, naturally regulate the indoor temperature. A standalone toilet provides added convenience. ----UNIQUE TRUFFLE EXPEREINCE---- As a sister property to Scotch Hill Truffle Farm, The Homestead offers exclusive opportunities to partake in winter truffle hunts and activities. Join Ron and Michelle and their trained truffle dogs as they search for these prized delicacies. Guest access This property is easily accessible to many types of vehicles, with an access drive that loops the property, that means that you can drive in and out if necessary without having to reverse. There is parking for up to 7 cars, vans, trailers and small to Medium trucks. Other things to note Room Access & Guest Numbers..: The Homestead sleeps up to 12 guests and is charged at a minimum rate for 8 guests, which includes access to 4 bedrooms: • Master bedroom (King bed) • Bedroom 2 (King bed) • Bedroom 3 (King bed) • Bedroom 4 (2 Single beds) The Loft with 2 Queen beds will be opened for larger groups (more than 8 guests) or by prior arrangement. If you’d like the Loft opened for a smaller group, we’re happy to arrange this for a small additional fee to cover cleaning and linen. We completely understand that plans can change! If your group grows beyond the number booked, please let us know so we can prepare for everyone’s comfort. An additional guest fee will apply for extra guests. Let us know your group configuration when booking, so we can prepare the rooms to suit your stay. Please note that The Homestead is set on a rural property. This means that there are animals, open water sources (dams), and wire rural fencing around the property. We welcome families, however children are to supervised at all times whilst on the property. COOLING OFF IN THE SWIM SPA. Our Homestead includes an outdoor swim spa that we have listed under airbnbs pool category (as it is the closest option available). Please note the spa is not heated and the jets are no longer powered, but it is still a fantastic place to cool off, splash around and relax during the warmer months. Our pool is only available for guest use from November to April. During the cooler months it’s over winterised and not in use. Please note: Guests will need to bring their own pool towels. This facility is for exclusive use by the Homestead Guests and is not shared with guests outside your booking. This property also features, a couple of additional outbuildings, which have been converted to guest accommodation. We kindly ask all guests to respect each other's space and privacy to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay for everyone. EXTENDED STAY Extended stay bookings, beyond 1 week, have been heavily discounted. Guest are responsible for providing consumables and household products during their stay or replacing what was initially provided. Eg. Dishwashing tablets, toilet paper, garbage bags, cleaning products Etc We appreciate your understanding. During extended stays, changing beds and washing linen is the guests responsibility. Fresh Linen can be provided on request at $30/bed. This is the cost of the commercial laundering.
