The space The Little House is a work of art, hand crafted with loving care by a master wood worker. The chalet-style home is beautifully accented with gingerbread, marquetry and hand-carved details. The rich wood interior includes a stunning spiral staircase that leads up to the loft-style bedroom. If you are looking for a hand-crafted, unique artistic space in beautiful semi-rural natural surroundings, steeped in love and inspiration from generations of family and friends, this is the retreat for you! If you are looking for an updated, renovated, cookie-cutter experience free of quirks or frayed edges, we suggest you look elsewhere. Guest access You will enjoy full private access to the cabin, and shared access to the grounds. The cabin includes an open main room and a lakeside deck, small full bathroom with a galley shower, and a small full kitchen. A spiral staircase takes you to the loft-style bedroom with a full size mattress and room for a cot or twin size air mattress. There is a second loft with a twin size bed, however access is via a ladder and should only be attempted with caution. The cabin is situated on about 5 acres of woods, field and lake shore, and guests may enjoy shared access to all the outdoors has to offer. Other things to note **Booking for events or film/video shoots is subject to approval and will incur an additional fee.** Please note that this is a unique cabin, and though beautiful it has very limited accessibility for the mobility impaired.
