The four bedroom, four-and-a-half bath house is unique among houses on Center Hill Lake--there is nothing like it! Guest access This a whole house rental. Guests have access to the whole house. Owners are not in residence at the home. Other things to note A unique opportunity to stay in an architectural gem on Center Hill Lake! The Tulip Tree Bay Lodge is a 3200 square foot 4-bedroom, 4.5-bath house situated on 5 acres of mostly wooded land overlooking beautiful Center Hill Lake. The house comfortably sleeps and entertains 14 people (maximum adults:12--there are two sets of bunk beds with upper bunks intended for children/teens/weight under 165 lbs, per manufacturers directions). Three king-size beds! Enjoy your morning coffee or afternoon glass of wine on the gorgeous wrap-around deck with views of Center Hill Lake and the woods with no other homes in view! Hot tub! Fire pit! Living room fireplace. Two Roku televisions with accounts on Hulu, Peacock+, Disney+ (or use your own digital subscription on another app in Roku), High Speed Internet service. Ping pong table, basketball goal, and corn hole! Board games, puzzles, movies, and many books for the entertainment and enjoyment of you and your loved ones. Bring your boat! There is plenty of room to park your boat in the driveway along with several cars. There is a lake access point at the end of the road- 1/2 mile!! No need to bother with the marina! No big boat? No problem! Bring your kayak or fishing pole and head down the road just half of a mile to a lake access point. You can also access the lake at Ragland Bottom State Park (3 miles) or Sligo Marina (4 miles). Do you like to cook? The chef's kitchen at The Tulip Tree Bay Lodge will thrill you! Double oven, cooktop, extra ice maker and dishwasher. We also have two full size refrigerators (the second one is located in the garage). For coffee lovers, choose from a traditional coffeemaker, French Press, Hario Pour over, or Keurig coffee for your morning wake up. Weber grill on the wrap-around deck. There are plenty of baking and cooking tools. In addition to standard pots and pans and bakeware, you will find an Instant Pot, griddle, standing mixer, turkey fryer, turkey roast pan, stock pots, and more. Leave your cookbooks at home!-the house is stocked with over 20! Plenty of dining seating inside as well as outside on the deck. There are two full sets of washers and dryers for your convenience with a large group. We provide laundry detergent. Bedroom 2- King-size bed and bunk beds (upper bunk weight should not exceed 165lbs, per manufacturers directions), fireplace, loveseat- direct access to hot tub patio (downstairs, full bathroom across the hall) Bedroom 3- Twin beds, direct access to hot tub patio (downstairs; full bathroom across the hall) Bedroom 4- Twin bed, Bunk beds (full on bottom, twin on top; upper bunk weight on should not exceed 165lbs, per manufacturers directions) en suite full bathroom (downstairs) Small sitting room- Full Sofa bed (main level), just off of kitchen. Main deck access. FOOD: Griffin's Produce Stand, Smithville Farmer's Market, Food Lion and Walmart are 15 minutes away in Smithville as well as some excellent options for dining out, like Los Lobos (Mexican), Smithville Donuts (Breakfast and Lunch), Kilgore's (meat and three), and Webb & Sons Soda Fountain. On and adjacent to the Smithville town square you will find Ace’s Steakhouse, Button Willow Coffee Shop, and Cheryl’s Beau Bees. In Sparta (20 minutes), you will find Calfkiller Brewery and Happy Trails Brewery as well as several restaurants (pub, coffee shop, pizza shop) on the town square. LOCAL ATTRACTIONS: Access Center Hill Lake at Sligo Marina (8 minutes) and Ragland Bottom State Park (5 minutes). Burgess Falls. Rock Island State Park. Appalachian Center for Craft. Short Mountain Distillery. Canoe the Caney. Multiple Local Golf courses. Harmony Lane Farms. Lots of unique boutiques and cafes on the town squares of Smithville and Sparta. Cookeville is 45 minutes away.
