Idylliq presents an exceptional residence: a fully restored 11th-century abbey, combining historic charm with modern comfort. 20 minutes from Chantilly and 1 hour from Paris. The abbey can accommodate up to ten people, and an annex can accommodate four additional guests. With its vast living spaces, this property is ideal for a peaceful stay in the heart of a setting full of history. Note: a deposit will be required before check-in. The space 🏡 Main building (10 people) 🏡 Ground floor - Fully equipped kitchen includes oven, microwave, five gas hobs, dishwasher, filter coffee maker and kettle. - Dining room - Separate toilet. The original vaults of the medieval abbey have been preserved, especially in the kitchen. Second floor - First living room, with fireplace. - Second living room, with fireplace and access to a terrace. - Bedroom 1: double bed 140 cm, screen with cable to connect a computer. - Bedroom 2: drawer bed for 2 people. - Bathroom 1: shower. Second floor - right wing - Bedroom 3: 160 cm double bed. - Bathroom 2: shower with toilet. Second floor - left wing - Bedroom 4: double bed 140 cm. - Bathroom 3: shower with toilet. - Separate restrooms - Bedroom 5: king size double bed, large screen to connect a computer, air conditioning - Bathroom 4 adjoining the large bedroom: bath and shower. 🏡 Annex house (4 people) 🏡 Ground floor - Fully equipped kitchen with kettle, filter coffee maker, toaster, gas stove and oven. - Cozy living room with decorative stove (non-functional). - Separate toilet under the stairs. Floor - Bedroom 6: two single beds. - Bedroom 7: a double bed with a fan. - Bathroom 5: shower with toilet adjacent to the double bedroom. NOTE FOR GROUP MEALS: - Inside there are three tables to have meals: one in the kitchen, one in the dining room and one in the annex house. These tables cannot be moved, if you are 10+ you will have to divide yourself into the different spaces. - Outside there are 2 large garden tables, these tables can be moved and joined if necessary to eat all together. 🌿 Exteriors and amenities 🌿 The house opens onto a large wooded garden, ideal for enjoying the surrounding calm. A terrace accessible from the living room allows you to relax outdoors. The pergola, garden furniture and barbecue offer a perfect setting to enjoy a meal or aperitif with the family. A garage is available, with a parking space for tenants as well as leisure facilities such as a badminton net and garden chairs. A swimming pool is under construction in the garden, access will be protected by barriers. It will not be open in 2025. 👨‍👩‍👧 For families 👨‍👩‍👧 The property is ideal for family stays, with large indoor and outdoor spaces allowing everyone to find their own quiet corner. Hiking trails and bike trails allow you to explore the area. You are 25 minutes from Chantilly and Senlis. Guest access You have access to the whole property Other things to note In some special cases, animals may be allowed, but only upon prior request and after written agreement from us. Please let us know before you arrive the type of animal, its size and the number of animals. Parties and large groups are not allowed. A security deposit will be requested prior to arrival. In winter, our houses are heated between 19°C and 21°C for your comfort and to preserve the environment.
