Just an hour's drive from the cabin, you’ll find most of the major attractions: the Art Nouveau town of Ålesund, the Sunnmøre Alps in Hjørundfjorden, the climbing park in Valldal, and the UNESCO World Heritage site in Geiranger! If you don’t want to drive, the spectacular Langfjella peak at 1118 meters above sea level awaits you, with marked trails right outside the door. To the south, glaciers and waterfalls await, while to the north, birch forests lead to beautiful mountain lakes. When you rent from us, we’ll be happy to tell you about all the opportunities and excursions you can enjoy. There’s an activity park in Valldal, just an hour away, and you must visit if you have children. It’s a true gem: physical activity in stunning nature with the sound of rushing rivers in the background. Ålesund awaits with its Art Nouveau charm and a fantastic water park, "Bybadet", just over an hour away. If you want to go to the mountains but don’t feel like hiking or prefer to spend some extra money, the Stranda Gondola offers a lovely break in the holiday. You can even have dinner up there! Geiranger is just a beautiful drive and ferry ride away. How about driving to Urke and hiking Urkeegga, Slogen, or Saksa for a spectacular view of Hjørundfjorden?
