The space Welcome to the "Hof Bissee" – a place where the clocks run slower and you never know exactly whether it's Monday or Sunday... Here's what to expect with us: Slow down, fresh air, nature, a SPA with luxurious saunas (a Finnish sauna and an organic sauna), good food, a delicious, high quality breakfast, lots of peace, some adventure - all this awaits you in our Corn Barn in the middle of the 178 sea village of Bissee. Bissee is in the heart of Schleswigholstein Switzerland with its lakes, forests and agricultural and mountainous landscape is one of the most beautiful places to vacation... Corn Barn is decorated in country-boho style and houses a total of 10 rooms. Wood, natural colors, and materials characterize the decor and ambiance. Your room offers you a view of the countryside of the place and the countryside and fields around Bissee. Chickens, cows, sheep, birds and tractors are the only sounds that accompany you here. In the small self-service stands on the street in the village you can discover and buy a lot. Or you can go over to our restaurant "Hof Bissee" and enjoy the upscale rural cuisine with dishes and ingredients from the region. In summer on the terrace and in winter by the open fire. Your bed with lots of pillows invites you to relax while you may let the bathtub full. Towels and bathrobe are provided to complete your spa day. The "SPA" at Corn Barn can be used free of charge for you and can accommodate up to 6 people. The SPA includes a Finnish sauna and organic sauna overlooking the garden, a relaxation room with XXL lounge to relax, a rainforest shower and a massage shower. Outside in the garden you can enjoy the fresh air and relax. This entire area is easily accessible for you from your room in a bathrobe. Please bring your own swimming lint/flip flops with you for hygienic. Attention: Please follow the SPA rules so that other guests can enjoy this area as well, while you may already experience something else. Right at Corn Barn you can park your car for free and drive relaxed in front of the entrance to load and unload your belongings at check-in and check-out. In the hallway you can hang wet things, leave rubber boots and from there you can reach your room and the SPA in the sauna house across the street. In the back yard is a playground for the little ones and dogs are welcome here. From the house you can hike through the village, stop for a "coffee & cake" in our "Hof Bissee" restaurant, go for the hiking trail around Lake Bothkamper See, go jogging, take a bike ride or make your way to one of the beaches of the Kiel Fjord about 25 minutes away. Kiel is about 20 min., Hamburg approx. 50 min., Lübeck about 50 minutes and Hamburg airport about 40 minutes by car. In the village of Bordesholm, 7 minutes away, you will find various supermarkets, pharmacies and drugstores for the things of everyday life and food. Guest access Of course, you have your room completely to yourself. There are 9 more at Corn Barn next to your room. The SPA area can be used for a maximum of 6 people. Other things to note Depending on the weather, you should have sunscreen and maybe mosquito spray for the SPA (bathrobes and towels are on site). For autumn and winter, we recommend rubber boots and rain jacket so you can explore nature even in the humid season before going to the sauna or getting into the bathtub.
