Marietta Manor
Marietta Manor
Description
Idyllic brick ranch, with easy access from I-75 & I-285. Large bedroom available with adjoining private bath. Friendly pets are welcome. Host has two small happy mutts, and two inside felines. Perfect location for Snow Birds headed South or those exiting from a problematic hurricane. Quiet & safe neighborhood offers more security for those with a packed car, versus a hotel. The larger bedroom has a small refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, toaster oven, and flat-screen television. The space Other guest bedroom amenities include floor-to-ceiling windows, a queen sized-mattress, large walk-in closet with plenty of space, and several empty dressers. The adjoining bathroom has been updated with granite. Those who are staying in Atlanta for a few days, a newly-added screened-in back porch awaits. This area contains a glider and several comfortable chairs overlooking a heavily wooded backyard. As an Ohio native , I have lived in Atlanta for 20+ years. After a career in healthcare sales and calling on area hospitals, I can assist visitors with navigating the confusing and crowded roads of Atlanta. And finally, I am “the mother” of two very friendly small, mixed-breed dogs, one indoor and one outdoor cats. Your small pets are welcome if they are well-behaved and housebroken. Kennels are available should your cat or dog enjoy the confines of a smaller space to alleviate separation anxiety while away from my home during your stay. Guest access The kitchen has been renovated with new appliances and granite counter-tops. Should your visit to Atlanta involves repeat trips and enjoy staying here, there would be the potential to keep a suitcase in my basement with clothing or other personal items for future visits. The third guest bedroom has a pull-out sofa or can be used as an office with internet access. There would be an additional charge of $20.00 nightly for someone using the third bedroom when traveling with the primary guest or parents. Since I do not have children, my house would be difficult to "child-proof," so please no small children, especially since I have pets and many antiques . During your stay Guests may have as much or as little interaction with the owner, who is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), and writer. This includes a busy work schedule and is why a minimum of 24-hour notification is necessary, unless there is a weather emergency, when people need immediate shelter. The host is also an avid ballroom dancer at a nearby studio and L.A. Fitness member with free passes for house guests. Other things to note My home is in a quiet suburban neighborhood. A car would be necessary if you stay here for transportation since there is no bus service, MARTA, or other mass transit. Marietta is approximately 15 miles north of Downtown Atlanta. Due to off-white carpet, leaving your shoes at the door would be appreciated. Also, no smoking, drug usage, parties, late night deliveries, or visitors after midnight. A copy of your driver's license will be needed to verify identity prior to admittance to my home. If you are first-time AirBnb user, I apologize but a minimum of five prior reviews will be necessary, along with a signature for the dates of arrival and departure, to avoid "squatters."
