Relax in your own little pod, set in 5 acre field with adjoining woodland. 1km from Shawbury village with a fantastic farm shop, pubs, bakery and more, it will take 20-30mins walk. Our only neighbours are horses. Shower/WC pod and kitchen are a short walk (10-30m), these facilities are shared with the other guests. We have two pods, booked together can accomodate 4 adults comfortably. Note: Private hot tub is rented with other pod. The space 'Barn' Pod- features double bed, customised height to ensure bedtime landscape views from the picture window, whilst creating maximum underbed storage. Blinds to window and door provide privacy. Electric overhead light, sockets/USB and portable heater for a comfortable stay. There is a small hanging space as well as cupboards and basket for shoes. Bed is made prior to arrival by host, and towels supplied. Hot Tub- is rented (extra charge) with our other pod 'Woodland' due to proximity. Guest access This is a working farm with livestock (horse, chickens and ducks), so there are areas that aren't accessible to guests for their own safety. Since the Avian Flu restrictions have lifted, our chickens and ducks are free ranging. Due to planning restrictions, it's not been possible to design the glamping experience to be accessible to all. That said, we are a truly inclusive family. We take pride in welcoming all; specifically people with disabilities, families and guests from the LGBTQ+ community.
