Located 600m from Atiu airport, across the road from Konakonako landing, 2mins drive to Taunga Nui port (wharf) and less than 10 minutes drive to the main township, we welcome you to our "kainga", aria mai ! Our place is suitable for a couple, a small family, or a group of friends. It's bachy island living with space to join in or break away. The space A clean and modern open bachy island cottage family home which consists of 3 separate spaces; 1. Are Nui, for sleeping and hanging out, 2. Are Kai, for cooking, 3. Are Manuiri, an open pavillion space to hang out or play. The Are Nui has 2 bedrooms, a lounge, bathroom with shower and a toilet. Bedroom # 1 is private with a queen size bed and wardrobe, while bedroom # 2 is an open space with two double beds with wardrobe. Portable fans are available. The Are Kai is a separate building and has a gas stove, a fridge freezer, a breakfast bar with an outdoor eating zone attached. The laundry room with automatic washing machine is next to this, alongside the outside shower and second toilet. Guest access All spaces, except the big green shed, is available to you. Private functions or events at our home are not permitted. Thank you for your understanding. Other things to note Our beloved Mum, Vaine Nooroa, is buried at our home; she lies under a big "are" which has plenty seating space for your family. You are welcome to enjoy the morning or evening breeze in this space.
