A full remodel with all modern amenities but all historic details such as flooring and molding, and staircases will give you a balanced and unique experience! The space ** The historic staircase is one of the most important aspects of the house, however, the stair tread is narrow, and the risers are about 9 inches. However, the master bedroom, one of the bathrooms, the dining room, living room, and kitchen are all located on the main floor. Other things to note Part of the charm of this historic house will include a steep historic staircase, floors that creek after 150 years of use, and doors and hinges that squeak. All of the utilities (wire, plumbing, hvac) have been totally redone, yet you will be experiencing the wonderful oddities of a historic home! The summer of 2025 will bring some exterior construction on the home. We plan on pouring portions of a new sidewalk as well as two brand new roundabout driveways. There will also be landscaping that will be in process.
