The Space Designed as an open-plan sanctuary, our cottage combines a cozy sleeping area, a comfortable sofa, and a well-equipped kitchenette with a small dining nook—all within one inviting space. Large windows fill the room with natural light, creating a warm and airy atmosphere. Step outside onto the verandah, where you'll find a dining area perfect for enjoying meals with a view. Relax in the traditional Malawi chairs, sip your morning coffee, or unwind with a book while taking in the stunning vistas of Lake Malawi and the Great Rift Valley. The bathroom features a hot-water shower, fresh towels, and eco-friendly touches for a comfortable stay. Dining & Relaxation The kitchenette is stocked with all the essentials, allowing you to prepare your own meals at your own pace. For those who prefer a break from cooking, Msasa Main Camp is just a short walk away, offering delicious meals, cold drinks, and great company. We also provide a takeaway delivery service for added convenience. Adventure or Tranquility – Your Choice Spend your days exploring Manchewe Waterfalls, hiking to Chombe Plateau, or taking a farm-to-table coffee tour. Our team will always be working onsite, day and night. Other things to note Located 2-3 hours north of Mzuzu and near the historic town of Livingstonia, the Hideaway is the perfect base for exploring Northern Malawi. With several shortcuts running through our land, we are just 7 minutes to the Msasa main camp and 12 minutes to Msasa Garden, where we have a permaculture garden and a view of Manchewe waterfall.
