Cozy cottage at the edge of the forest

In scenic Trångsund, 18 minutes from Stockholm Central Station, you will find this cozy cottage. A ten-minute walk takes you to the center of Trångsund with a grocery store, pharmacy, kiosk, dry cleaners, shoemaker, and simple restaurants. In the same amount of time, you can walk to the nearest swimming area or the popular café and restaurant Villa Printz. The cottage is located right at the edge of the forest. From here, you can hear woodpeckers and other birds, and at dawn, foxes, deer, and hares often pad by. The space The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, a bathroom with a toilet, sink, shower, washing machine, and dryer. In the living room, there is a 160-cm bed, a dining area with chairs, and a fireplace (wood is not included but can be provided for a fee - please let us know in advance so we can prepare a wood basket). The air-source heat pump provides a comfortable temperature in the cottage in winter as well as in summer. Guest access Guests have access to the entire space. Other things to note The cottage is built in 1940 and is tastefully renovated with modern amenities. There is a working fireplace and if you want, you can buy birch wood from us (SEK 200 for a full wood basket). The cottage is located on the same large plot as the house where we live, but well secluded with its own patio. From the parking next to our house, you walk a lit forest path to the secluded cabin. On the other side of the woods from the cottage, there is an amusement park, where activities with or without music are sometimes organized in the summertime. The music will then be heard at the cabin, but the activities never last longer than 10 pm. Usually, they end much earlier. To get to the cabin from the public road, you walk on a short, hilly path (about 150 meters). This means that you cannot roll your bags all the way to the cabin, but you will need to carry them along the path, which can be good to know if you are traveling with heavy luggage and have difficulty carrying your bags.
