Our local dogs roam freely on the farm's grounds. They are friendly and used to welcoming guests and other pets. 🍃 Important information about the rural environment: As we are immersed in nature in a warm country climate, the presence of local wildlife (birds, insects attracted to light, etc.) is common. We recommend keeping the doors closed and turning off the outdoor lights at night to prevent them from entering the cabin. Guest access We aim to offer an experience of peace and relaxation in a serene, natural setting, so we are not the ideal place for parties or excessive noise. We appreciate your respect for the peace and quiet of all our guests. On the estate, in addition to enjoying your cabin with a private hot tub, you'll have access to various common areas (shared with guests from the other 3 cabins): 🏊 Large pool (10m x 6m, 1.4m deep), not heated. 💆‍♂️ Pool with therapeutic jets, ideal for relaxing 🏖️ Beach volleyball on a sand court ⚽ Grass field for 5-a-side soccer and volleyball 🏓 Games area: ping pong, tejo and rana 💪 Exercise machines: elliptical trainer and multi-gym 🎣 Lake for recreational fishing: One fish per guest is courtesy of the property (must be caught by the guest themselves). We have 4 private cabins: - La Roca (this listing) – up to 3 guests - El Lago – up to 9 guests - El Mirador – Up to 4 guests - El Nido – up to 3 guests 📍We are located in the rural area of La Mesa (Cundinamarca). By car, we are 1.5-2 hours away from Bogotá and: - 10 minutes from La Gran Vía and La Esperanza. -15 minutes from the municipality of Tena. - 20 minutes from downtown La Mesa. When you book, we send you detailed check-in instructions along with other recommendations. 🚗 Access and getting around Access by private vehicle is easy: most of the road is paved. Only the last 100 meters are unpaved, but they are in good condition. If your car is very low, you can drive along it with a little care. Parking is in front of the cabin. 🚌 Options without a vehicle: If you come by public transport, take a bus to La Mesa and get off at La Gran Vía, where you have these options: •⁠ In the same place where the bus drops you off, ⁠there are private cars that take you to Los Almendros farm (approximate cost: $25,000 each way). or •⁠ ⁠Take a bus (Vía Cachipay). After Yoly's store, get off at the Cabañas bambuCO/Finca la Gran Cosecha sign and walk for 15 minutes (average fare: $5,000). 📶 Internet and electricity We have 30 Mbps Wi-Fi. Several guests have used it for remote work without any problems. The Claro network has a good signal; Movistar and others may vary. As we are in a rural setting, there may be fluctuations or outages in the electricity or internet supply that are beyond our control. In the event of a power outage at night, for your safety and due to the risk of fire, the use of candles is strictly prohibited. A flashlight is provided. 🍽 Dining options: We do not have a restaurant. We offer you alternatives: ✅ Kitchen equipped with the essentials (refrigerator, coffee maker, pots, plates, glasses, cutlery) so you can prepare your meals or bring something ready-made. 🔥 Barrel BBQ. Bring charcoal or you can buy it on the property. 📍 Recommendations for nearby restaurants. 🐶 Pet-Friendly – Your pet is welcome! - Maximum 1 pet per cabin. - There are other animals on the farm: local dogs, cats, chickens, ducks and guinea fowl. -Basic rules: They ✅ must have their vaccinations up to date. ✅ Keep pets off beds and sofas. ✅ Deposit or bury excrement away from the cabin. ❌ No pets are allowed in the pools or hot tubs. ⚠️ Any damage caused by the pet is the guest's responsibility. ♻️ Waste and environmental management Help us keep the property clean by separating the waste. A caretaker collects it to avoid odors. You are in the heart of nature, so the presence of local wildlife (moths, birds) is common. We recommend keeping the awnings and doors closed at night. 🔇 Communal Living and Quiet We aim to ensure everyone can rest. Quiet hours are from 9 p.m. to 8 a.m. We do not allow loud noise or loud music. Failure to comply is grounds for cancellation of the reservation without a refund. 🛂 Mandatory Registration In accordance with regulations and hotel insurance policies, all guests and visitors must be registered with an ID before their arrival to authorize their entry. Minors must be accompanied by their parents or be duly authorized (notarized). 👨‍🌾 Staff on the property A caretaker lives on the estate and assists guests at certain times of day. 🌤 Weather Temperatures between 18°C and 23°C, reaching 25°C in warmer months.
