Once checked in, you’re free to come and go. 🤫 QUIET HOURS 9 PM–7 AM to keep the retreat peaceful for everyone. 🔥 SHARED SPACES Our bathhouse, fire pit, and outdoor kitchen are communal, designed to bring guests together while keeping everything clean and comfortable. 🍳 FOOD & COOKING Bring your own groceries and enjoy preparing meals in the covered outdoor kitchen with grill and prep space. 🛻 ROAD CONDITIONS Highland is reached by dirt and gravel roads. They’re maintained but can be bumpy. Most vehicles (including sedans & Harley Davidson's) arrive just fine, though AWD is recommended. 🦌 WILDLIFE ENCOUNTERS Elk, deer, and coyotes are frequent visitors. It’s part of the Highland experience, but if forest sounds keep you up at night, this may not be the best fit. ☀️ ECO-FRIENDLY & OFF-GRID Our camp runs fully on solar and follows Dark Sky guidelines for incredible stargazing. Each tent includes a Jackery power bank for phones and small devices, but high-draw appliances (like hair dryers) can’t be used. 🐾 BRINGING YOUR DOG We welcome up to two pups (75 lbs or less each) per tent, with no extra fees. To keep everyone safe and comfortable: • Dogs must remain leashed on the property • Pets cannot be left unattended in tents • Owners must clean up after their dogs • Guests are responsible for their dog’s safety, behavior, and any damages ❗Please note: If these rules are not followed, Highland reserves the right to cancel your reservation without refund and ask you to leave the property.
