Stunning New Mountain Basecamp

Architecturally designed, this mountain home was completed at the end of 2024....our first guests will stay beginning June 1, 2025. Our home is an outdoor lovers paradise! This can be your base camp for mountain adventures as we are adjacent to the Cooley Jericho Forest hiking trails, as well as being within 15 minutes of Cannon Mountain, Echo Lake, and Franconia Ridge. From our large back deck you can enjoy the amazing view and may be lucky to even see deer, fox, and moose! The space Brand new home completed in 2024! As you approach our house, the view immediately commands your attention.....from the Presidential Range in the distance to the Franconia and Kinsman ridges in the foreground. You'll witness the sun starting each day, sipping coffee brewed by either the traditional coffee maker, the Keurig, or the Nespresso. The mountain view is enjoyed immediately upon entering the home from the entry, kitchen, dining and living spaces. and from your Master Bedroom! Our custom designed kitchen is fully equipped with everything necessary to prepare meals and enjoy your stay. The kitchen area is furnished with a custom-made large dining table for your whole family as well as seating for 4 at our huge kitchen island. The open floor plan makes mingling and chatting with guests in the dining area or living room an ease. The kitchen opens into the large living room space with comfortable seating for relaxing after a long day of outdoor adventures. You'll also find the convenience of a propane fireplace in the living room for ambience and heat during the winter. The Master Bedroom is located on the first floor, with private en-suite, AND a separate egress to a private porch. Our deck is 60 feet long and includes comfortable seating for your group, an outdoor wood-burning fireplace and gas grill. Enjoying cocktails on our outdoor sofa and chairs, sitting by the fire, watching the Alpenglow off of the Franconia Ridge will become a favorite pass-time here. Additional guests will enjoy two additional bedrooms on the second floor, sharing a full and luxurious bath, including Swedish inspired tile work. The upstairs also has a small loft area for relaxing. Our fully finished downstairs family room is meant for quality family time. Whether it's playing pool, watching a movie together, or working out on the Bowflex, you'll make memories to last a lifetime. If the billiards game is too challenging, you'll find a slew of bunks to nap or relax in too! There is also a full bathroom in the downstairs as well. Remember though to leave plenty of energy for the outdoors......starting at the Basecamp! Guest access Guests will have complete access to all rooms and areas of the Basecamp....with the exception of our Utility and Storage room. Other things to note Your Basecamp for Mountain Adventure is the perfect location for outdoor fun. Directly adjacent to this property is the Cooley Jericho Community Forest (CJCF). Miles of hiking and mountain biking trails are found here, where visitors commonly encounter the local flora and fauna. Bouldering, rock-climbing, rappeling are all available in the CJCF as well.....we can help find a guide if you'd rather not have that responsibility. Mountain vistas and look-outs are the PERFECT spot for a picnic or romantic glass of wine. Cannon Mountain is a picturesque 15 minute drive....here you'll find the Tram to its summit elevation of 4080'....while Bretton Woods and Loon offer Gondola rides, mountain biking, zip lines, and rock climbing walls. Local breweries (Iron Furnace in Franconia is our favorite), Restaurants (Polly's Pancake Parlor in Sugar Hill for breakfast is a MUST), and local swimming holes (the nearest is only three miles away) will all help the sore muscles from adventuring go away!
