The Farmhouse/“Kids Paradise”

This Farmhouse has been in our family for 5 generations! We have photos from days gone by of many family gatherings here. We want to continue that! We’ve updated & remodeled over the past 5 years & continue to do improvements. We do not offer luxury accommodations. I love thrifting, so you will find our house very eclectic. We are all about families enjoying their time together in a fun friendly environment! One of our guests called it a “kids paradise”, so now we are using that in our name! The space Well-supplied kitchen with counter island and bar seating for 4. Dining area with large table seats 8 or more. Another small table with 2 benches seats 4. Counter height desk area in sunroom seats 3. Picnic table on patio. Table for 3 on front porch and back porch. Two sets of tray tables (8) available. Sunroom with sofas and comfortable seating, TV, DVD player, games and puzzles. Front and back porches, patio area with gas grill, gas fire ring, and picnic table. Gas tanks are filled for your arrival. If you run out, may get it refilled at Cole’s Hardware in Danville. No wood fires allowed. Garage has small kitchen with sink and cold water, refrigerator, small microwave and gas stove. Water from kitchen faucet may not be available in freezing temps. Garage is converted into a game/play area with tables and chairs. No climate control. Entire house has air conditioning in the summer. All window units. All bedrooms have room darkening window blinds. Shedroom (bedroom 7) is by the patio. It has a twin trundle which can be made into a king, and a full sized bed. Availability of shedroom is at discretion of owner. Message me if you would like to bring a group bigger than 15. We may be able to accommodate your group, max 20. We have an earlier check-in time than most rentals. Do not plan on arriving before then unless you have made arrangements with us. We may or may not be able to accommodate your request depending on our schedule and previous guest departures. There is a guest manual for information about the house. Guest access You will have the entire house on the first and second floor. Keycodes are sent on the day of your arrival. You may hang out in the garage- lots of space and fun things to do. No heat or a/c in garage. Fans available. Storage room in garage private access, owners only. Basement private access, owners only. Shedroom by the patio is available at the owner’s discretion. No trespassing on neighbors property, which includes pond and barn. You risk being evicted for defiant trespass. Pennsylvania law allows a $300 fine. Other things to note Private driveway divides our property from neighbor’s property which includes a pond. This is strictly off-limits to any guest. There is a barn near our property which belongs to our neighbor. It is off-limits to any guests. Any guests trespassing on neighbors property is the bookers responsibility. Make sure ALL your guests know the boundaries. Your reservation will be canceled by Airbnb for defiant trespass without a refund. Trespassing is a crime. Garage area is for seasonal use, no climate control. Porta potty nearby. Garage has a small kitchen with sink with cold water, refrigerator, microwave, gas stove, and coffee station. Garage is geared for activity, but not rough-housing. It is not a gym. All games with balls except for the basket toss are to be played outside. No throwing balls in the garage. There are some family memorabilia and antiques on display. Please be respectful and let them alone. They are for viewing only. We have beds for 16 people including 1 twin futon; We have 2 pak and plays and 2 toddler cots. We do allow for up to 20 people to stay overnight. We provide bedding, towel sets, paper supplies (toilet paper, paper towels, napkins. We provide dish, dishwasher, and laundry detergent, hand soaps, paper towels and toilet paper, shampoo and body wash for each bathroom as starter supplies. We have plates, bowls, cups, glasses, flatware for 16 people. Be aware that we have internet by satellite. We have the fastest speed available for our location. It will stream movies, but do not expect uninterrupted gaming online. We love children! Children should be supervised by an adult at all times while at our property. This rule is also rated on the review. There is an embankment by the driveway and around the garage. No one should be climbing up or sliding down the bank. It disturbs the ground and leads to erosion. If something breaks or gets damaged, please let me know! We need to be aware so that we can get it replaced. If you are interested in a date that isn’t available on the calendar, please feel free to send a message. We may have availability if there is a cancellation. If you have a group bigger than 15, we may allow that. Be aware that there are multiple outdoor cameras on our property. Do not tamper with the camera equipment. Because of our close proximity to neighbors, outside activity is closely monitored. You must update your reservation if the number in your group changes by the time of your arrival. Be honest in declaring how many people are staying with you. You will incur a $100 fee/person if you have unapproved guests. You will not be allowed to re-book another stay if this happens. We have provided a gas fire pit for your use. Wood fires are not allowed on the property. When you make a reservation, you are agreeing that you are aware of these rules, that you take full responsibility for anyone in your group who violates these rules.
