Welcome to the Frame Beach Retreat, set on the island’s largest private beach. This luxurious newly built Scandinavian A-frame sleeps 8 with 4 bedrooms, 2 baths, and a spacious common area featuring a smart TV and fiber internet. Ferry access required, parking on-site. The perfect island getaway! The space Please note you will be renting one building. The second frame is under “the frame beach retreat 2” if you are looking to book both buildings or if the dates your looking at are not open check out the frame 2! Please book your ferry through Owen Sound Transportation as soon as possible. We recommend you book a car as well, the property is around a 10 min drive from the ferry terminal. Bookings for the season open for March 1st with the ferry starting April 1st depending on weather. Some details on the property; Floor to ceiling windows offer an infinite view out on to and over the water as the frame is hoisted high in the air. The beach is steps outside and is all yours to enjoy! Of note there are biting black flies and mosquitos depending on the season, we recommend bringing bug spray. This new European build has been thoughtfully curated with high-end finishes such as marble floors and counter tops along with modern furnishings. Fully usable kitchen including a fridge, stove, microwave, toaster and coffee maker, as well as an outdoor bbq space. Towels, sheets and pillows provided. There is parking available on the property (on sand) for 2 cars with an option for an additional 2. Of note there are 10 stairs into the building itself. There is a grocery store called “co-op” on the island for simple groceries. It is 15 mins on the opposite side of the island near the marina. We recommend to bring your own groceries as there is a full kitchen and plenty of fridge space. There are multiple restaurants on the island to try depending on the season. Pelee island Winery is approximately an 8 min drive from the property. There is plenty to do and see on the island. Make sure to grab a visitor guide on the ferry. Pelee Island is one of the most significant bird migratory islands in the world with countless birds to find. Also with almost zero light pollution it is known for some of the best stargazing in Canada! Guest access Entire house available to use as well as lake access and a private beach just a few steps outside. You are able to use the beach directly outfront of the building all the way down to beach to the downed tree. Of note the septic is just to the right of the drive way - please do not park there. Other things to note Of note parking is on the sand. If you have a larger vehicle you can park closer to the house. A smaller car you would park close to the road so you don’t get stuck in the sand.
