Moon Hill Cabin - The Bailey Bungalow is the fictitious retirement home of George and Mary Bailey from the famous movie “It’s a Wonderful Life”. After a successful career the Baileys retired to this quaint and quiet cabin. This is the getaway you have been looking for. This 1920's Sears, Roebuck and Company kit house cabin was completely remodeled in 2025; adding all the modern conveniences, while maintaining that old charm. Filled with treasures collected from traveling the world! Guest access Moon Hill Cabin is located on a forested 1 acre lot not too far from town. It has a front porch, a large living room, a covered screened in porch and a fire-pit pergola, and there is seating available in all four places. We live out in the country on a private dead end road with a 20 mph speed limit that we ask you to please regard. The private road is great for walking or biking. Most of my neighbors have some combination of dogs, cats, horses, donkeys, and chickens. Please do not go near the neighboring homes, respecting each others privacy. Note: Our cabin is in a forest, in the piney woods of East Texas and as a result there may be bugs! We are very diligent about keeping it clean and regularly spray for bugs.
