Charming Cottage in Vík

The cottage is located in the heart of Vík in Mýrdalur. The cottage was originally built in 1918 but has now been fully renovated and accomodates up to 4 persons. A great place to stay for a few days while travelling the southern part of Iceland. The space Our cottage accommodates 2 adults in a bedroom and other 2 on a sleeping loft. The bedroom has a very comfy double bed, while the sleeping loft comes with comfy twin beds. Linen and towels are included in the rent. The small kitchen is fully equipped for our guests (microwave instead of a regular oven, though). The shower is in the restroom. Free parking is in front of the house. Within a 5 minute walking distance there are several restauraunts, a swimming pool, grocery store, liquer store, a bank and other services. The location of the house is ideal should you wish to explore the nature of the surrounding area. You can go on day trips from Vík to places like Jokulsarlon, Skaftafell, Dyrholaey, Myrdalsjokull, Solheimajokull, Seljalandsfoss, Skogafoss, Thorsmork, Vestmannaeyjar and other places in the south part of Iceland.
