Casa Eglio

Welcome to our holiday home. Come and relax amongst nature. Eglio is a small village of around 80 people. This is a great place to relax. One can go walking and cycling around the Alpi Apuane mountains in the Garfagnana region. Our home is within easy reach of Barga, Lucca, Pisa and the coast. This is our happy place which we want to share with others when we are not enjoying it ourselves. We have tried to add in the extras which we enjoy when we go away! The space We have set check ins to Monday and Fridays, so you can either stay Monday to Friday, Monday to Monday, Friday to Friday or Friday to Monday, but if you have specific dates in mind then please message me to discuss. We want to accommodate your request if possible. Other things to note Please look after our home; if you have any questions please message me to ask; our cleaner and local neighbour will be available if there is a problem as well as myself remotely. If you are using the heating, then we respectfully ask you to please not increase it above 20 degrees Celsius and also to keep the bathroom door and windows / front door shut. If you need to increase it then please discuss with us and we can work out an agreement. There is also an open fire place which you are welcome to use; we aim to leave a bit of wood to get you started and then you can buy further wood locally. Thanks Please note that if you are staying between November and March, then it will be colder as this is a mountain cottage and therefore if you do want to increase the heat above 20 degrees Celcius then you will need to contribute to the cost of this.
