I fell in love with the charm and authenticity it exuded. I decided to embark on the renovation work on my own and keep this natural spirit (by applying the lime plaster in the rooms for example...) Its facade seems dilapidated, it deserves a refresh, but a mud wall is a wall designed from earth and vegetable fibers, LIME, erected on a wooden support that is durable and resistant. Cob is almost no longer used as a building material, so people who still know how to make cob are rare. Thanks to the cob, you will immediately feel good in the house because it is an insulating material that makes the house healthy and pleasant in all seasons. Now you understand why I decided to call this house the CHAUX'mière ;-)
