Very comfortable, self-contained accommodation in St Romans, at the foot of the Vercors mountains Welcome to our family home, between Drôme and Isère, where peace and serenity reign. We offer you a pretty, new, well-equipped flat, with a terrace with outdoor furniture in the shade of a wisteria tree, a garden with sun loungers and a large private car park. You'll soon feel right at home. We live on site and will welcome you personally. The space The bedroom has a very comfortable 160cm double bed and a wardrobe. The shower room with walk-in shower is separate from the WC. A large living room with sofa bed (sleeps 1) opens onto the terrace via the large bay window. The kitchen is very well equipped: fridge-freezer, oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle and ... knives that cut 😉 But also a barbecue for summer evenings and a raclette machine for winter. Comfort air conditioning. Mosquito nets. You also have free access to a washing machine subject to booking. Wi-Fi connection (fibre), private parking, bicycle garage and electric vehicle charging point (fee payable). Pets allowed on request. In the village there is the Lac du Marandan and its beach, where you can go swimming, and all the local shops within a 10-minute walk: bakery, supermarket, butcher, tobacconist. Restaurants can be reached by bike or car. We would be delighted to tell you about our favourites. We are located between a walnut grove and the forest, in a beautiful tourist region, with its picturesque villages: Beauvoir en Royans (5 min) Pont-en-Royans (10 min) La Sône (10 min) St Antoine l'Abbaye (20 min), its remarkable roads (Combe Laval, Presles, Gorges de la Bourne, Gorges du Nan, route du canyon des Écouges...), its streams and waterfalls (Cirque de Bournillon, Gournier...), its forests, its caves (Choranche 15 min), its swimming spots... A little further afield, you can marvel at the Hauts Plateaux nature reserve, which culminates at Grand Veymont. Villars de Lans, Autrans and Font d'Urles are 30 minutes away. The nature reserve reveals exceptional horizons: the grandiose landscapes of this area, bathed in light and pure air, are a source of extreme emotion. Famous landscapes often used as backdrops for films (e.g. Un petit truc en plus) The area close to our accommodation offers a wide range of walks: the Coulmes and Rencurel are 20 minutes away, and sporting activities: climbing (Presles is 20 minutes away), caving, mountain biking, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, canyoning, base jumping, fishing, etc. We are on the edge of the 64 and 63 cycle routes. If you love nature, the Vercors Park and Nature Reserve is a real paradise. In summer or winter, you're in the right place.
