Cottage on Great Pond, Belgrade Lakes, Rome Maine

Come stay at our lakefront cottage and enjoy what fun Maine summer has to offer. Our cottage is located 30’from the water for easy lakeside swimming and activities. This quaint cottage is 3 bedrooms with a cozy screen porch, large private dock and a boat mooring. The space is great for boat lovers, whether you bring your own or rent from the local marina. This is a family-friendly community where you will get to experience lakeside fun during the day and beautiful sunsets in the evening. The space If you want a break from water activities, we are only minutes away from the Waterville Country Club and Belgrade Lakes Golf Course. A day trip to Bar Harbor, Acadia National Park, Boothbay Harbor, Freeport, Rockland, or Camden lets you enjoy more of what the great State of Maine has to offer – these are all reasonably accessible from this cottage. There is also easy access to multiple hiking trails in the immediate area. Other things to note This is our family cottage, we expect you to treat it with love as we do. We are located within a community so there are no parties or large reunions permitted. Quiet hours in place from 10pm to 7am. Things to note: Both bath and lake towels are provided. We ask that you please don't use the bath towels for lake activities. No one wants to pack wet clothes in the suitcase when they leave or put on a wet swimsuit back on to swim again, so even though laundry is not available onsite there is a dryer. Bottled water is necessary for drinking and cooking. We provide a water cooler with 15 gallons to get you started (we provide only 15 gallons for the week). We recently installed a heat pump, which provides air conditioning in the main room when it gets too hot for open windows and the lake breeze to cool you. Please note that the woodburning stove shown in the photographs is not usable because of the heat pump installation. Vacation isn't always complete without your pets! Pets are considered on a case-by-case basis, so please message us to see if you can bring your furry family member as well.
