Stockport’s Shed Life

Located in Stockport SK3 Five minute walk to Davenport train station or £5 taxi fare to Stockport central It’s just a ten minute train ride to Manchester central (Piccadilly) The shed is insulated and toasty warm. Bedding and tea & coffee provided. Lots of parking available Outdoor lighting, strong Wi-Fi, & a smart TV Loo located in the outhouse, sink with hot and cold water…No shower! The space Lots of parking space available next to the grass island, opposite my house. Entrance via black wooden door, next to my front door. Located at the bottom of my garden. Pathway leading from large decking area towards the shed. The decking area has an enclosed gazebo attached to the house. This is our family seating area. During the summer months, my son and I may be using this space in the early evenings, but it will remain enclosed to maintain your privacy. If the gazebo is not in use when you return in the evening, you are more than welcome to use that space too :) There’s no keys needed for entrance, just locks to secure the doors once you’re in. Private outdoor loo and sink with hot and cold water, located in the outhouse. NO SHOWER! Smoking permitted in the outhouse and garden area but obviously not in the cabin itself. There is a lightweight duvet cover on the bed, and a heavier/warmer one stored in the wardrobe for you. An electric radiator is programmed on the wall and a smaller manual radiator is available inside. Being toasty warm is definitely not a problem! The outdoor lighting switch is located by the cabin entrance door, I ask that they could be switched off by 11pm please! The outhouse/loo lights will be left on all night for you. • Wifi • Large smart TV • Tea, Coffee & Milk • Two sets of plates, cutlery, glasses and mugs Davenport railway station is a five/ten minute walk from my house. Trains to Manchester are every half an hour from this station. Alternatively it’s a £5 taxi fare to get to Stockport railway station, where trains to Manchester are every ten minutes. Please bear in mind I’m not an excursion operator! The postcode for the cabin is SK3. I can help with local places to eat etc, but I don’t know how much taxi fares will be or what time the trains are! Check in is at 5pm. There is a place you can leave bags in the outhouse entrance if the shed isn’t ready for you at your ideal arrival time. If you let me know your plans for the evening whilst making a booking then we can get a plan together :) This is a really cosy, relaxing, clean and peaceful place to spend the night. Other things to note This little shed is as peaceful or as lively as you want it to be! It comes to life at night-time with fabulous outdoor lighting. It measures 12ft by 12ft so nice & spacious with nothing but open skies to look at when you’re lying in bed with the doors open!
