Buckley House Cobh, a creative retreat & sea views

Buckley House overlooks the famous harbour town of Cobh in Cork. It is a 4 story listed Georgian townhouse with lots of stairs leading to the south facing rooms, each with a spectacular panoramic view over the harbour. We renovated Buckley House with love and respect for the old building substance, adding a new kitchen, 3 bathrooms, a modern central heating system, colourful contemporary design as well as art to build a comfortable creative retreat for ourselves, friends and guests to enjoy. The space The house in the center of Cobh offers spectaculer views over Cork Harbour. It suits one large family, a group of 2 or 3 smaller families or a group of people who wish to use the spacious house as a creative working retreat. Guest access Buckley House is a listed 4 story Georgian house with a lot of character and history. The house can only be rented as a whole house. There are 4 bedrooms (3 double, one with an ensuite and one single), 2 spacious bathrooms, an upper living room with fireplace, ground floor kitchen, open dining and working spaces with a gas fireplace as well as a small yard to the kitchen. It is suited for groups of up to nine persons for a holiday or a working retreat. Our philosophy behind the house is that people come together to spend time together. Many of our guests are pleasantly surprised at how much they actually relax simply spending time together, talking by the fire, playing board games or reading. Sometimes a detox is just what the doctor ordered!
