Mummolatunnelmaa near Aavasaksanvaara near the Swedish border. A well-equipped 1950s cozy frontman-style house. The house has a loft with a well-equipped kitchen, one bedroom and a sauna area. The sauna section of the house has a room with overnight accommodation and a very good wood-heated sauna. The sauna wing was built in the 1970s and the surfaces of the sauna and shower room were renovated in the spring of 2023. Sleeps up to 5 people. Dog guests are also welcome for an additional fee The space The downstairs of the house is available, with one bedroom with beds for two, a kitchenette/cabin with a kitchen and living room, and sauna facilities. The living room has a sofa and a bed. One bed is in the sauna dressing room. The house is fully available to guests. Guest access The guest has access to the living quarters and sauna on the ground floor of the house. Other things to note Practical instructions: The sauna is wood-heated. It heats up with one bucket of water. If you need help with heating, we are happy to help. In the shower room, there are peflette on top of the washing machine as a seating platform for the benches. You can burn them in the stove's firebox after use. (Other fireplaces in the house are not in use) Trash: We aim to recycle all recyclable waste. For this purpose, there is a barrel in the hallway, inside which you can put clean plastics, tin cans and other metal waste and paper/cardboard in the three containers. For mixed waste, there is a trash can on the kitchen counter. You don't have to worry about the removal of the trash, but if you stay longer, the trash can be found a short distance away on the other side of the road. The beds are already made, but if you need extra pillows, you can find them in the bedroom closet and under the wooden sofa cover in the living room. The house has oil heating. If you need more heat, turn the radiator thermostats to a higher setting. The house also has an air heat pump for cooling. Its controller can be found on the right side of the air heat pump on the rack behind the curtain.
