Within the ancient nucleus of the city of Martano, surrounded by historic buildings, this room with private bathroom, sensory shower and whirlpool tub will welcome its guests in maximum comfort and privacy. The environment, with its clean and minimal geometries, has fine finishes: wood, natural stone, microcement and soft colors give the space character and a refined elegance. A luxurious solution, ideal for pleasant moments of relaxation and romantic getaways for couples. The space The entire building that houses the room has been completely renovated, with completion of the works in January 2025. Everything is new, not only the rooms, but also the furnishings, the systems and its equipment. The room can be easily reached on foot by walking through the cobbled alleys of the old town, welcomed by the timeless charm of Lecce stone. The entire outdoor area is pedestrian, closed to vehicular traffic, although in the immediate vicinity there are plenty of parking areas, totally free, along both sides of the public street. The furniture, with defined and linear geometric shapes, is handmade in fine solid wood, as are the internal doors and external fixtures. Together with the white of the "rough" plastered walls, the veins of the wood and the natural stone floor, the soft colors of the textiles, this room gives those who stay there a feeling of deep well-being and a pleasant sense of lightness. To ensure the best rest, the bed is large (170x210 cm), has a mattress in a particular highly breathable foam with hypoallergenic energy coating, 4 soft cloud-effect pillows and orthopedic nets with wooden slats. The air conditioning is entrusted to a fully integrated Aermec air conditioning system, which ionizes the air by purifying it from impurities or allergens to make the climate even more pleasant during rest. For the coldest periods of the year, there is also the heating system with Arbonia design radiators in tubular steel. The external fixtures are made of wood with certification for thermal cutting and soundproofing. The Colacril hot tub (strictly made in Italy) is large and comfortable, with a waterfall, whirlpool jets, chromotherapy on airpool jets and an ozone disinfection system. The en-suite bathroom, completely covered in microcement, is equipped with a Geberit sink and bathroom fixtures with a clean design and essential lines, a large transparent tempered glass walk-in shower with a rain shower head and Paffoni chrome-plated steel faucets. A play of LED lights, in continuity with the bedroom, enhances the niches in the masonry, increasing the emotional experience of both environments. The textiles, both bed and bath, are all in pure cotton of excellent workmanship made in Italy. The bathroom set consists of two face towels, two guest towels, and two shower towels. The room is equipped with fiber internet connection and dedicated wi-fi, safe, "open" wardrobe with hangers, drawers, IndelB zero-noise mini fridge, 55" Hisense 4K Smart TV, hairdryer, towel set, courtesy set (slippers, cap, hand soap, shampoo, shower gel, toilet paper). Guest access Inside the room, SMOKING IS PROHIBITED, even with inhalers and electronic cigarettes. Guests with children and pets are not allowed to book the room. Violation of the prohibitions entails the possibility of expulsion of the guest, without the right to a refund of the entire stay booked, as well as the charge of sanitation costs and any compensation for damage caused to the rooms, furnishings, textiles and any other accessory present. Other things to note The room is located in the historic center of Martano, a few steps from the main points of interest of the city, in a quiet area and well served by bars, pharmacies, supermarkets, banks, post office, all within walking distance, in addition to the many restaurants where you can enjoy, even outdoors, the best dishes of typical Salento cuisine, however at much lower costs than the seaside resorts. Martano is the reference town of what is called "Grecìa Salentina", the capital of a geographical area in the center of the peninsula rich in tradition, culture and history. Its central location also makes Martano a favorite destination for getting around. In fact, it is a few kilometers from the wonderful cliffs of Roca, San Foca and Sant'Andrea or from the white beaches of Torre dell'Orso, Frassanito, Laghi Alimini, Baia dei Turchi and Otranto, all easily reachable by fast provincial roads, by car or public transport. But there are also a few kilometers that separate it from Lecce, the capital of the province and the most refined Baroque, or from the many wonderful historic centers of the neighboring villages, such as Galatina, Soleto, Corigliano d'Otranto, Sternatìa, Nardò, Galatone.
