Our exquisitely renovated, private gated hideaway, has been transformed from its humble origins as a traditional store barn into an elegant retreat. This charming bijou conversion features a stylish interior, complemented by views across the countryside. The barn offers luxury as well as complete privacy with its own secluded patio for dining and relaxing. it is the perfect base for discovering the county’s history, Lincoln cathedral, the coast, the Wolds, and its aviation heritage. The space The barn is accessed via a private country lane with electric gates, leading to a spacious driveway where Fern Hill Barn is nestled within beautifully landscaped gardens, just beyond the main farmhouse. From the moment you arrive, you’ll feel a world away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Inside, you’ll find a beautifully designed open-plan living space, combining a cosy lounge, fully equipped kitchen and dining area, creating the perfect place to relax, cook and spend quality time together. The separate bedroom features a luxurious king-size bed dressed in crisp linens, along with a dressing table stocked with thoughtful extras including hair styling products, body lotions, cotton pads, a hairdryer and hair straighteners. Both bedside tables are fitted with USB charging points, making it easy to keep your devices charged throughout your stay. The comfortable lounge also includes a sofa bed for an additional guest (a small supplementary charge applies to cover bed linen). French doors open onto your own private, sun-drenched patio, complete with an outdoor sofa, dining table and chairs. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy breakfast in the morning sunshine, an afternoon drink or dinner overlooking the surrounding fields. Guests also have direct access to our secure paddock, ideal for stretching your legs and enjoying the peaceful countryside. The contemporary shower room is stocked with a selection of towels, luxurious bathrobes and premium toiletries from Rituals or The White Company, including body wash, shampoo and conditioner, adding a little extra indulgence to your stay. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you’ll need, including a Nespresso coffee machine, an extensive selection of teas and all the essentials for dining in. To welcome you, we’ll have fresh milk in the fridge along with a selection of homemade treats waiting for your arrival. Everything has been thoughtfully provided so you can simply unpack, relax and enjoy your own private countryside escape. Despite its peaceful location, Fern Hill Barn is perfectly placed for exploring some of Lincolnshire’s most loved attractions. The village pub and two delightful cafés are within walking distance, while the popular Stockwith Mill wedding and events venue is just 1.5 miles away. Nature lovers can enjoy beautiful walks through Snipe Dales Country Park and Nature Reserve (less than a mile away), while nearby market towns including Horncastle, Spilsby, Louth and the elegant village of Woodhall Spa offer independent shops, cafés, restaurants and plenty of Lincolnshire charm. Guest access The property is reached by a scenic road just off the old main road, leading to a private electric gated entrance for added peace of mind and privacy. On arrival, we will be there to welcome you and provide everything you need, including instructions and a gate fob for easy access to and from the property throughout your stay. There is a spacious parking area with turning access and plenty of room for cars, bikes, trailers or even larger vehicles, making it especially convenient for racing enthusiasts visiting Cadwell Park. Guests can also enjoy a secluded rear patio with your private gated access to secure paddocks to wander around, relax in, and take in the views while unwinding in complete privacy.
