Tsitsikamma Coast Cottage -

The comfortable self cater cottage is situated on a unique property right on the beautiful Tsitsikamma coast. We are situated about 40kms to the east of Storms River Village. Walking trails offer stunning views of the ocean, mountains, and forest. There is a small private beach with deep rock pools to explore. Wake up to the sound of birds and keep an eye out for the antelope, otter and other wild animals. There are almost daily sightings of dolphin, and excellent sightings of whales in season. The space The cottage is warm in winter and cool in summer. There is a large covered veranda (terrace), an open plan lounge (with TV), kitchen and dining area. The small kitchen is fully equipped for a self catering holiday. There is a barbecue, fridge / freezer, and laundry facilities are available on site. The two bedrooms both have en-suite bathrooms which include toilets. Guest access The Cottage is rented to only one group of guests at a time. Besides our on site managers residence there is only one other house on the property - which is also available to rent. The two units are situated on a small undeveloped farm and there are several walking trails which will take you through native forest, past amazing wild flowers, and along cliffs overlooking the ocean. There is a zigzag path down the hill to the small private beach below, where one can swim in the protected pools, or hike along the rugged but beautiful coast. There are miles of safe rural dirt roads on which to cycle, or one can take a walk through the neighboring dairy farm to view the many birds on the dams and the cows in the lush green pastures. Other things to note The property and the general area is extremely safe with no security concerns at all and there is safe vehicle parking next to the Cottage. The property is accessed from the N2 highway by way of 3kms of tar road and 10kms of gravel roads and farm roads. The dirt roads are normally in good condition but can be a little slippery after rain. The nearest little shop is 12 kms away and the nearest grocery store and butchery is about 22 kms away. You will therefore need to bring all your food and drinks with you for a self catering holiday.
