Escape to the tranquility of rural life at this charming bungalow in Rushworth, located just a short 30 minute drive from Nagambie and the renowned Nagambie Wine Region. Perfect for small groups, this quaint two-bedroom, one-bathroom retreat offers a relaxing getaway surrounded by nature and a perfect base to explore the Waranga Basin and surrounding forests. Rushworth township boasts many services and facilities within 5 minutes walk. The space The Rushworth Bungalow is your perfect home away from home with one comfy double bed, and two single beds that will give you the much-needed rest you've been craving. Laundry and bathroom facilities are equipped with all necessary soaps, shampoo etc. Prepare to explore regional Victoria during the day , then at night, grab a wine and sit back to enjoy the star-filled sky on a clear night. With a large parking space at the rear of the property, it is perfect to bring trailers and boats to enjoy Waranga Basin, which is less than 10 minutes away. Please note: there is no working wall or built in oven. The kitchen is fitted with a benchtop cooktop and there is an air fryer & sandwich press, available. Saucepans, frypans etc are all in the drawers below the cooktop. Guest access Guests have full access to the house and yard. There are some cupboards locked with owners personal items. Other things to note PLEASE NOTE: We do not accept pets or additional guests. We are in the country so there may be wildlife and insects around, including occasional kangaroos in the yard at night and the early hours. They will move on and out without any interference needed. There is a small amount of frozen meat in the freezer if you'd like to be friendly and feed the neighbourhood magpies, and bird seed for the bird feeders is in the tubs under the carport. At certain times of the year, we get Eastern & Crimson Rosellas, King Parrots & galahs. Bird feeding is, of course, entirely optional. Any excessive damage will incur an appropriate cleaning or replacement charge.
