Nestled in among 25 acres of forest, this family and pet friendly property will help you disconnect with the hustle and bustle, and help you reconnect with the things that matter most. This beautifully appointed home is located a stones throw to the town of Sundridge, beautiful beaches and all desired amenities. The space The main floor of the home has a spacious master bedroom, a full bathroom, a fantastic and fully equipped kitchen, along with a dining area and a spot for the family to hang out. Downstairs you'll find another hang out area, with TV, a wood stove and access to the backyard. An additional 2 bedrooms, bathroom and dedicated office area. Outside, you can enjoy the wrap around porch, including a fully screened section. There are marked and maintained trails through the forest, a camp fire area with seating and even the beginnings of a "food forest" with a pond that you are welcome to explore. The property has been set up with families in mind and regardless of if you are inside on a rainy day, or outside, you will find lots of games and activities to help keep everyone entertained. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire home, including a fully enclosed section of porch, great for those nights you want to be outside and not bothered by bugs! The garage/workshop, next to the home is off limits, but otherwise make yourself at home, explore the marked trails, sit by the fire and enjoy the sounds of nature. Other things to note Upon arrival, you will find a welcome manual in the kitchen. This will contain everything you need to know about the home, local amenities and attractions. At present, we are trialling an internet provider and have our fingers crossed that it meets everyone's needs. Information about how to access the wifi will be located in the welcome manual. The top bunk in the bunk-bed room is not suitable for small children or adults. If an alternative is needed, the berdoom across the hall has a trundle bed that can be pulled out. Like all nature based properties, there is a level of inherent risk. Northern Ontario is also home to a variety of wildlife. Please use your own discretion when using amenities such as the trails, fire pit area and other outdoor spaces. If you have specific questions regarding risks, and how to mitigate them, just shoot us a message. Please note that this home is not used exclusively as a short term rental. Efforts have been made to remove the majority of personal belongings, but there will be some evidence that the home is also regularly used by the owners.
