Surround yourself with eclectic art and funky decor, play the organ (or xylophone), relax under the life-size Jesus window while sipping some tea and paging through a poetry book, listen to an old record, or enjoy local provisions and entertainment. Easy access to York, Lancaster, Harrisburg, Hershey, Gettysburg and Baltimore! The space Enter through the big green front door of the church into the original vestibule, which opens to a spacious great room with massive ceilings. Here you'll find a cozy seating area, surrounded by large plants (including "Figgy" a 9ft ficus!), an old record player, a TV ready to stream your favorite shows, and lots of eclectic art, books, and trinkets to explore. The sun drenched dining room and kitchen are well-equipped to provide everything you need including a wide range of appliances, kitchen tools, cookware and dinnerware. Completing the great room is a music and reading nook with comfortable seating, an old church organ, a xylophone, and keyboard if you like to tinker on the keys. Upstairs is a spacious open loft bedroom that's home to a queen sized bed with a charming antique Japanese screen headboard, a loveseat and chair for relaxing, lots of closet and storage space, a small TV, and an art table/desk/workspace. There are 1.5 baths, a half bath downstairs with stacked washer/dryer, and a full bath upstairs with a rain shower head and full sized tub, steaming hot water, toiletries, and fresh towels. There is a parking area out back with a small outdoor seating area available for your use. Guest access The church is divided into 3 units, you will have access to the entire front unit (#1) and a parking space out back. Other things to note Located in a small town, on a busy street... expect some street noise from traffic. Stained glass is 120 years old and drafty, sun heats up loft during the day... feel free to adjust thermostat as needed, temperatures can shift throughout the day. Water gets HOT- be advised when using sinks and shower. This is an open loft space with skylights and enormous windows, when the sun comes up, it will get bright!
