Easily accessible by car, bike, and bus to towns and train stations (on main lines to London). Downstairs boasts a cosy yet roomy carpetted living room and bright kitchen-diner equipped with all the comforts and mod-cons you will need for your stay. As well as a garden landing and bathroom. Old steep winding staircase (carpeted with double banister) from.the living room lead up to the two charming bedrooms. The first housing two single beds which leads through to the second housing a double bed. Door between the two rooms for privacy. Both bedrooms have dual aspect window views of fields to the front and the private garden to the back. Private front and back gardens are full of seasonal flowers and plants, and bird song. Side path houses a shed and wheelie bins. Guest access The whole cottage as well as front and back garden are for the private use of guests. Other things to note Very steep winding staircase to upstairs bedrooms. Stairs are carpeted and there is a solid wooden banister on one side and a rope banister on the other. 1st floor not suitable for guests with mobility difficulties, however there is a sofabed futon in the downstairs living room and the bathroom and WC is on the ground floor too. Antique stove in Inglenook is decommissioned/no longer is service. Bedroom 2 is accessed via bedroom 1. For sofabed use, guest to bring own bedding and towels.
