This stylish spot is the perfect getaway in the City of Trees for business or leisure! Sleeping 5 total, our 1 BD/1 BA home with two comfortable queen sofa beds comes with everything you need whether here for a weekend or a month! Recently remodeled, we offer a fully private living space complete with a well-stocked kitchen, living area, bathroom, and bedroom w/ king bed. Walk or cycle anywhere you need to go, w/ Downtown Boise & Hyde Park just a couple of blocks away. Welcome to Boise! The space The Corner Cottage is the ideal place to spend your time in our beautiful city. This listing is for a 1 bed, 1 bath home in the basement of a home (home upstairs, this unit down) complete with a comfortable living area, a full kitchen, and a full bathroom. There are no shared spaces or entrances. The best part, though, is the home's vicinity to Downtown Boise, Hyde Park, and some of Boise's most beautiful parks. The main living area is tastefully decorated with plenty of seating. It provides a cozy place for your group to sit back and relax. We offer WiFi and a Smart TV where you can stream your favorite binge-worthy shows. Please note that our lovely fireplace is just for show, and not appropriate for guest use. We hope you'll prepare tasty home-cooked meals in our gorgeous kitchen, which has been thoughtfully equipped with all the necessary appliances, pots, pans, and cooking utensils you'll need. Those with longer stays will appreciate the full-size appliances, including a fridge/freezer, stove, oven, and dishwasher. Enjoy meals together at the counter bar or gathered around the dining table. You'll have sweet dreams in the bedroom's comfortable king size bed. Please feel free to make use of the available closet space. There is also a full bathroom with a gorgeous tiled shower. You may also enjoy the outdoor wonderland of Boise by taking a stroll down the street to the Boise Whitewater Park. You can watch the kayakers practice in the rapids, or walk along the Greenbelt with a coffee from any of Garden City's amazing shops, stop for a beer at one of the outdoor bars in the summer, or stop in at wineries and vintage shops just off the path. Additionally, just a short walk away or bike ride is Hyde Park, Boise's best (in our opinion) strip of small shops, bars, and restaurants to feel like you have been transported to a quaint European city. Once you stroll down the streets of Hyde Park, admiring all the stunning old homes and small local businesses, you'll never want to leave. No matter where you choose to spend your time, you'll feel right at home in our comfy corner cottage! Guest access Guests will have full access to the entire home. The backyard is not appropriate for guest use. Other things to note Please note that we live above this rental. You have an entirely private entire home with a separate entrance, but be aware that the entire apartment is on the lower basement level of the home pictured in the listing; we live in the above ground portion. Please know that the ceilings are only about 7 feet tall, so taller people may have low clearance. There is a bee box directly across the street from our unit. Take caution when parking in front of it. We also ask that you keep in mind our house rules: -No parties, events, or other gatherings. -No smoking anywhere on the property. This includes vaping and e-cigs. If you need to smoke, please walk at least 50 feet away from the house, and be sure to properly dispose of any cigarette butts. -The fireplace in the living room is not appropriate for use. -Please also keep noise levels to a minimum by observing quiet hours after 10 PM.
